Ana Lost 50 Pounds in 4 Months

Ana is a 29-year-old working mother, who has lost more than 50 pounds in just 4 months by following Trim® Nutrition’s Carb Revolution™ program and fitness training regimen at Trinity Ultimate Fitness (TUF) in Odessa, Florida.  Ana’s nutrition program included carbohydrate cycling and intermittent fasting along with consumption of high proteinhealthy fats, and Trim® Nutrition nutraceuticals.

“I’m half of the size that I was and I’m so happy,” Ana said. “I want to look at myself in the mirror again!”

How Ana’s Weight Loss Journey Began

Ana’s weight loss journey began in October 2017, and she says it’s not over yet. Her weight loss goal is 100 pounds. “I need to lose 50 more,” she said.

Ana said she “was never actually a fitness fan” but for many years she was in great shape.  Originally from Macedonia, she was a dancer for 15 years and never had any issues with her weight.  But starting a family and working the night shift got her into an unhealthy cycle that eventually took its toll on her health.

“I was not active at all and I started eating a lot of sweets, like brownies and sugary things,” she said.  “I started working the night shift, which killed me more.  I was so tired.  I was barely sleeping like 2 or 3 hours before I’d go to the next shift the same night.”

It was her brother, an Olympic swimmer, who inspired her to make a change.

“You’re just 28 years old, you cannot be like this,” he said, urging her to join a gym.

Her husband was supportive.  “I don’t care how you look, even if you were 800 pounds,” he told her.  “But you’re not happy, and that makes me feel not happy. So just go and do it.”

That’s when she met the team at TUF who introduced her to the Trim® Carb Revolution program.

Best Weight Loss Program

She Started at 224 Pounds

On her first day she weighed in at 224 pounds.

“I didn’t want to put makeup on. I didn’t want to go and shop for clothes. I didn’t even want to look at myself in the mirror at all, because that’s how disgusted I was,” she said.  

She started doing group fitness with the team at TUF.

After starting her program she immediately began to see results.  She lost 10 pounds in the first week, and 20 pounds during the first month!

“The first month was the hardest part,” she said.  “My biggest problem was sugar. As soon as I got that out of my system, I was able to go!”

Ana read the Trim® Carb Revolution program book and strictly followed the guidelines.  She said Phase 1 (the detox phase) is a serious commitment. “After eating all the junk food to go 7 days and do the detox is no joke,” she said.  

But immediately after the detox phase, she could feel her body changing.

“You sweat, you drink more water, you eat less, all your toxins are out and everything changes.  Even the smell of your body changes,” she said.

Once she moved on to Phase 2 and started introducing carb cycling, she said she was amazed at how much her cravings had disappeared.  Sugary foods just didn’t taste the same to her anymore.

“After the second week, everything that I was eating, I was already feeling full, which is awesome because before, you’re just stuffing yourself and you’re still hungry.”

Ana says she feels good about cooking healthier meals, and her new habits are even rubbing off on the rest of her family.

Her Fitness Family is Her Support System

Ana has remained in Phase 2 of the program and is consistent with her group fitness workouts at TUF.  

“It’s the food, it’s the diet, its all the products but it’s also how much you sweat,” she said.

She started out with workouts 3 times a week and now she’s up to 5.  

“The greatest thing is that the gym became the best habit that I ever had,” she said.  

Now she loves the gym the way she used to love dancing.  Even after being sick with the flu, she couldn’t wait to get back to the gym.  “I can’t miss it!  Joe, Carrie, everybody who is with us, they are always pushing you to do more, which is awesome!”

Ana is now at 168 pounds and her results are fueling her drive to continue.

“I like myself finally!” she said. “I feel more energized and I just feel happier.  Honestly I am.  You learn so much with this process.  It’s an awesome experience.”
