A Message from Dr. Agin on Men's Health Month

Tips on improving your wellness from TeleWellnessMD founder and CEO, Dr. Brent Agin.

When thinking about discussion topics for Men's Health Month, I had some considerations I wanted to share with you on health and wellness.

Understanding that there is no "magic pill" for health, I am always trying to find the most effective treatments available to get results quicker. One thing I know that is essential for healthy living is investing in yourself, whether that be in the form of time or money. If you are not happy with how you look or feel, do something about it. You are the only person you can control in this world so take pride in yourself. With a small investment in yourself and a little discipline, you could be having better sex, bigger muscles, less body fat, better sleep, more energy and most importantly... happiness.

Wellness is a Lifestyle

I always tell my friends and patients, "if you think wellness is expensive, try illness" this could not be more true and is the most important concept to embrace. Preventing illness and anti-aging are all centered around your lifestyle and therefore the better your lifestyle, the lower the risk of disease. So, even if your lifestyle needs some serious help, the investment will be mostly made in the beginning. Once you have your sleep, diet and exercise regimented and you are moving in the right direction, the investment goes down and then you start to get a return on your investment in the form of energy, happiness, disease prevention and confidence.

With this in mind, I am going to share with you what I believe to be the most important and best investment to give you the largest return on your investment in the shortest amount of time.
